Call for Abstracts
The Reactor Physics Technical Forum invites the submission of abstracts for presentation at the 2026 meeting. This year's primary theme is:
Building confidence in our reactor physics models:
Exploring techniques used to demonstrate our reactor physics models are good enough
Whilst this theme will form a central focus of the meeting, we strongly encourage submissions across the wider reactor physics community. The Forum aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion and collaboration across the broad spectrum of reactor physics and closely related disciplines.
Suggested Topics
Abstracts are encouraged in areas including, but not limited to:
- Modelling and methods developments
- Industry challenges and innovation
- Advances in nuclear data
- International collaboration
- Interfaces with adjacent technical areas and multi-physics
- Verification and validation
- Impact of changes in the energy landscape
We are also keen to receive submissions on topics beyond those listed above where they are likely to be of interest and value to the reactor physics community.
Presentation Format
Presentations will be delivered as part of the conference technical programme. Further details regarding presentation length and format will be provided to successful authors following abstract review.
Submission Deadline
Extended to 12 noon 20 August 2026.
Authors will be notified following review by the organising committee.
How to Submit
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words. The abstract portal is now closed.
