Why this conference exists

Reactor Physics plays a significant role throughout the lifecycle of nuclear reactors and the infrastructure around them. Physicists and engineers across many organisations in the UK are tackling challenges across this increasing spectrum of diverse problems. This event provides an opportunity to share the challenges and successes, seeking to strengthen links in reactor physics across

the nuclear community and foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Understanding of current activities in reactor physics across multiple organisations, with an opportunity to help inform consensus

on priorities within the growing community.

Who should attend

Attendees with an interest in nuclear reactor physics are welcome, from undergraduate students with a grounding in physics or engineering through to experienced researchers, academics, laboratory staff and industry professionals.

Who you'll meet

Attendees are expected to include physicists and engineers from across the nuclear industry and academia with wide ranges of experience, hosted by Rolls-Royce.

Beyond the conference

Delegates are encouraged to exploit opportunities to grow their network, explore future collaboration and mentoring. Getting

involved in helping to shape future events is strongly encouraged, including through IOP groups such as the Nuclear Industry

Group.
